Home EV chargers are one of the fastest growing jobs around Mandurah, particularly out through Lakelands, Baldivis and the newer estates where a lot of the newer cars are.
The install itself is usually straightforward. What matters is what happens before it. Your switchboard needs a spare way and the incoming supply has to have the headroom, especially if you already have solar, ducted air conditioning and a pool pump competing for it. Skipping that assessment is how people end up with nuisance tripping every time the car is plugged in.
We check the supply and the board first, tell you honestly what is involved, then install the charger on its own protected circuit and issue the certificate.

Common questions
Can my house handle an EV charger?
Most can, but it needs checking rather than assuming. The things that matter are your main supply capacity, spare ways in the switchboard, and what else is already drawing heavily. In older homes the board is often the limiting factor.
How long does the install take?
A straightforward install is usually done within a day. It takes longer if the switchboard needs upgrading first or the run to the parking spot is a difficult one.
Can we just use the plug that came with the car?
A standard outlet will trickle charge, but it is slow and those outlets are not designed for hours of continuous high load. Repeated use is how they overheat. A proper charger on its own circuit is safer and far quicker.
